2. Technical Assistance Grant (Selby Slag) funded by the Department of Toxic Substances Control. Site: Selby Slag located at Shoreline & Marsh Adj to Carquinez Strait, Selby, CA, 94802. Assisting people and organizations include Heidi Petty of CCRCD.org and technical contract with Gunkelman, Ltd. Geologic Services

Grant Purpose: To hire independent Technical Advisors (TAs) to help the community understand and participate in the cleanup process. RCA is one of the recipients of a Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) to monitor the Selby Slag site cleanup in Selby, CA. The site is undergoing evaluation/cleanup of contamination under DTSC oversight.

RODEO MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL (RMAC) This Board serves as OUR advisory body to the CCC Board of Supervisors. Their meetings are the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm and now having in person meetings again at the Rodeo Senior Center. For meeting agendas please go to RMAC agenda page for info. Do you have concerns or questions about Rodeo, please attend and ask them directly.
